Snippets

This week is Jeffrey Hicks week. The PowerShell veteran wrote *e*v*e*r*y article mentioned here. So here they are.

Generate Dynamic Parameter Code.

You need a parameter that should show up only under certain conditions? Then dynamic parameters is the right technologx for you . Dynamic parameters is maybe something you know exists, but didnt use so far. JH wrote a function that creates the code for you – HOW GREAT !. Give this a try.

Console Gridview

Out-Gridview is the CmdLet that made PowerShell attractive for many people who handn´t deatl with PowerShell before. With PS-Core, Out-Gridview disappeared and came back later but only for Windows. Them MS decided to publish a module for console-based gridview. JH extended and colorized this module. Nice !

Colors, colors, colors !

You want to know what colors are possible to draw on the console, their names and jow they appear on the console ? Read JH´s latest masterpiece and try his new CmdLet „Get-DrawingColor“.

Have a great week / R.
