Updates from the PowerShell Gallery
Solving a problem with Powershell can be satisfying, even there is always the slight idea that somebody may have done this before. The PowerShell Gallery is a great source for existing solutions. Jeffrey Hicks has written some code to generate a report for news on the gallery.
5.1 and 7 Compatibility
This blog from Austrian PS MVP Patrick Grünauer is some sort of reminder (honestly i have forgotten this myself – psssst). Anyway, if you want to get reminded on how to run PS 5 modules in PS7 – read this blog article.
Flatten advanced objects
Sometimes, CmdLets return objects with multiple layers of depht. This can be annoying, so the guys from EvoTec wrote a „flattenizer“.
The Power of PSReadline
PSReadline got very powerful in the latest releases and version 2.2 is available. Read this blog article from Mike Kanakos on how you can make your life much easier on the shell.
Have a good time / R.
