New Training available on PowerShell.Org – Learn PowerShell in 5 Steps
Cole McDonald created a 5-blogpost training series for PowerShell on PowerShell.org. The first blog starts here https://powershell.org/2022/07/learn-powershell-in-5-painless-steps-storage-variables-arrays-hashtables-step-1/. From there you can navigate to the others. Great for newcomers!
New VS-Code Extension (July 2022 Update)
The PowerShell team has released anotherupdate for the PowerShell extension in VS-Code. Give this one a try, my experience with the recent updates are quite positive, especially with debugging. Read the blog-post for more.
PowerShellGet 3.0-preview 16 released
Another preview release, another feedback round. Hope dies at last, so we trust in the team that there will be a RC and a production version at some point in time. Until then, use the preview and see whats new.
PowerShell Archive 2.0 Module preview
The PS team is working on a new version of the ARCHIVE Module. Read the reasons and status of the project here.
Have a nice August 2022.
