PowerShell 7.1-RC1 is out
PowerShell 7.1 will be based on .NET 5.0.0, which is also in preview right now. there are still some design breaking changes, and therefor PS is bound to those changes. Attention – this release is only published for Windows and Linux. Link
Secrets Management Module redesigned
Storing Secrets in whatever way has always been an issue. The Secrets Management Module targets this problem and has a new iteration available. Multiplatform and PS 7-compatible this is really promising. Read the updates for Preview 4. Link
Windows Terminal 1.4 – Preview
Version 1.4. brings 2 new features, one useful and one cool. Link Support and Blinky graphic rendering for ASCII art. Check out the blog-post from Kayla Cinnamon. Link
PowerShellGet 3.0-Preview 10
The binary-code based PowerShellGet Client gets another release. A lot of bugs are fixed and the new features (Update-PSResource) gets more stable. PowerShellGet should be released with PowerShell 7.2, so dont hurry, but keep an eye on it! Link
